1847 DDR | AU Details | NGC 6479612011 | $250 | This popular DDR variety, (Variety Plus) VP-002 , combines Obvers2 with Reverse A. Cross reference Briggs 1A. Reverse doubling is seen on QUAR DOL, , UNI. The Environmental damage cited by NGC is on the reverse, its' very light by ED standards. Patina is a darkish brown, with deep blue and purple highlights. Fairly priced at about half straight grade. As this is a collectible variety at a higher grade that was probably remediated, I'll just call it CLEANED.

1853 A&R | XF40 | PCGS 36377844 | $265 | The 1853 date with Arrows and Rays is always in demand as a one year type coin with strong market price strength. The offered example displays totally original greyish brown surfaces with tinges of underlying gold that my images do not capture., The Variety 2 A&R design was introduced to signify a reduction in the weight of the coin, and thus the silver content as the silver composition remained at 90%. All 13 stars with good denticle formation. Miss Liberty's head and hair features strong, the shield LIBERTY distinct. The eagles feather detail is splendid for the grade. Quite attractive under magnification and an excellent selection for a EF/AU type or date set collection. PCGS grade pop of 318. ORIGINAL.

1859 | AU55 | CACG 844936202 | $425 | New 7/11 This 1859 No Motto Seated Quarter was cherrypicked off the floor at the Raleigh show. I was immediately attracted to the coin's unquestionably original fields and the underlying golden toned luster. Th CAC population in AU55 currently shows just 2 stickered and 2 in CACG holders, certainly a difficult coin to locate at the presented level. Strike is quite sharp with full stars and just traces of friction on the obverse and reverse high points. The Type I Obverse is paired with Type 1 Reverse. CHOICE. G
