$185

The 1892 Barber dime typically comes with good luster and strike, no exception here.  What separates this example from the crowd is the dramatic die chip above the 2 that connects to the bust. The die chip is easily seen with the naked eye, adding appeal to the offering. Lovely golden rim accents on both obverse and reverse round out the value proposition.  Gem.

The tougher date 1892-S Barber dime even in lower grade raw condition can be sought in more than a few shows before a successful hunt is concluded. The present example has problem free rims and limited surface distractions for the assigned grade. The obverse is weaker than the reverse which easily grades 2 points higher, displaying strong wreath design elements. Just lots of honest wear on this 1st year San Francisco issue. Original .

Lite makes it a priority to add choice Barber material whenever possible. This 1901 Barber dime fits the bill displaying truly lovely color that shows out when rotated under proper lighting. Blues, greens and purples mingle on the obverse, the reverse with steel blue tones that accentuate the agricultural wreath. Strike is hammered. My pics yeoman like and not close to capturing how nice this coin is in hand. Perfect for either a date or type set collection. Statesville show purchase. Gem. New 3/18

PCGS 11519326

$110

This New Orleans Barber dime is an underrated date and becomes much more difficult in AU and above. The offered example is absolutely stunning for the grade as its'  blessed with plenty of luster and colorful rose blue tones that are strictly original. Strike is also very strong for a New Orleans issue. My pics capture just some of the toning, but missing how lustrous and desirable this Barber dime is in-hand. LIBERTY is full, with the lower headband showing very  good dimensionality. Original mintage of 5,620,000 is over 3x scarcer than the Philadelphia issue. R3 in XF45, with the rarity factor increasing AU and above.  This example would sit well in any XF-AU date set. Gem. New 3/28

ANACS 375290

$120

Housed in an old small white ANACS holder this Barber dime displays splashes of vibrant blues and golden on both the obverse and reverse. In addition to the eye appeal the strike is strong with just a trace of wear.  What appears to be a die scratch running diagonally in the 912 digits is noted.  Super nice in hand, my pics not fully conveying the vibrant color. Totally original and properly priced given the quality presented. Gem.

The 1st yr. of issue 1892-S Barber Half dollar is a tough out in just about all grades. This example, with nice gunmetal toned fields was possibly lightly wiped long ago, however I see no hairlines present under 10x magnification. The obverse rim is near problem free, the reverse with a few hits as seen in my image.  Very strong remaining design features for the assigned grade technical grade which I adjusted for the rim bruises. Perfect choice for a raw album especially a 7070 type set. Attractively priced. Market acceptable. Sold
