MS62

NGC 1607715012

$359

Lustrous , frosty and nearly proof like, this fully struck better variety VAM-10 Morgan is so nice when viewed in-hand and under proper lighting.  The variety is easily identified by the "notched 7" which is seen at the top and bottom of the left side of 7's crossbar. Normal hits on Miss Liberty's cheek account for the technical grade. The reverse shows full breast feathers on the eagle, minor blemishes in the fields also noted for accuracy. NGC pop in ms62 for the variety is 43, 28 are graded higher with a top pop of 1 maxing out at at the ms65 grade. Gem.

This stunning dual sided Morgan displays amazing dual sided toning that is comprised of electric blue, magenta and golden yellow. I'll come right out and say right at the git-go that my images don't come close to conveying how nice this Morgan truly is in-hand. The obverse is well struck but interestingly shows signs of a deteriorating die at the neck area. Die cracks are noted through some of the stars and legend. Miss  Liberty's hair detail is full, especially above her ear. Given the uncirculated condition and toning there is a very good chance this was part of the GSA release and found its way into the early Brown label NGC holder. The reverse is a total show stopper with the same color pattern as the obverse, only this time completely circular around the rim. To add spice, the die cracks are dramatic, the break from the leaves through eagle's left wing and moving to the S of particular note. The reverse also with a cameo effect for the eagle which is fully struck. The premium is quite fair given the exceptional quality offered. Gem.

This San Francisco issue is blast white, frosty, and the strike is ripped with accentuating icicles jumping out on the obverse and reverse. As is common for the date, die polish lines are present in the glass like fields that my image doesn't catch. This is the 3rd reverse, or reverse of 79 with slanted top arrow feather.  Gem.

The obverse mostly a lustrous silver grey with some gold accents. The reverse with splashes of russet, magenta and gold, Fully struck, the magnificent eagle truly jumps out at you on this coin. Priced slightly above the PCGS  price . and well worth the added ask. Way nicer in-hand than my images, trust me ! Gem.

This collector grade 1896-S issue come with totally original gunmetal grey surfaces. Raw album Morgan collectors that hunt circulated coins with original toning will sure to be pleased with this coin. Rims are problem free with strong denticles. A couple of minor obverse blemishes as shown in my image at the lower stars 10-13 noted. This date is always in strong demand with a lower 5,000,000 mintage. The reverse eagle with good remaining feather detail. Original.

This dual sided turn of the century Morgan displays amazing rainbow toning on the obverse complemented by lots more on the reverse. Bluish magenta, gold, bluish green and emerald all come to life on this wonderful piece, my image can't come close to conveying how nice. Strike is average, which tends to be the norm for this date. Excellent premium choice for Morgan toner collectors on a date that's tough to find quality.  Lustrous, and worthy of any high end Morgan collection. Gem.

ANACS 4968749

The 1924-S Peace dollar is a lower mintage issue that becomes tougher to find in higher mint state grades. This example is well priced displaying lustrous white surfaces. My reverse image a bid darker than in hand. The obverse shows two die cracks, the first from below the L to the 9, the second can be found under the T running through Miss Liberty's bun. Typical hits and luster for the assigned grade. Original .
