Specializing in Quality Early Type Coins & Personalized Service

Greetings to all on a typically warm North Carolina summer morning.

The summer is rolling by fast, it seems this time of the year always goes by too quickly. I’ve been busy with attending local coin shows and initial preparations for the August ANA which is held this year in Pittsburg, one of my favorite cities.

The recently concluded NCNA annual event held in Raleigh was a strong show for Lite with solid sales results recorded. Public attendance  was strong Thursday through Saturday and I was kept busy behind the table with little time to browse the bourse for new additions although I did add the above lovely 1859 CACG 25C graded AU55 that is now listed for sale . A few other acquisitions were made and I’ll continue adding to the site as we head into August.

Speaking of the site, I’m quite pleased with recent activity, the summer can tend to be slow for coins but sales activity has been strong.

The next show for GFRC-Lite is August 8,9 the Iredell-Statesville show which I will be attending for the first time. I have previously walked this show and am now happy to have a table. Lite will have 4 cases, I’m hoping for a good 1st time results and if I can make a few purchases that would be an added bonus.

I would also like to mention that current inventory levels are down, probably at their lowest since last December, so if reading this, and looking to raise monies by selling duplicates or coins in areas of interest that have waned, I’m open to all consignment suggestions.

After the Statesville show the turnaround to the ANA is short. I’ll be in attendance Monday – Friday, both buying and selling as I walk the convention floor. The ANA World’s Fair of Money is also a time to complete grading submissions for Lite and its clients, and to attend club meetings and social events.

Finally, I’ll also be behind the GFRC table and look forward to seeing and catching up with the entire team.

Cheers !

Rich
