Description
This 1835 JR3 variety ,R2, displays pretty mixed golden bluish surface toning and strong strike. Date with Fancy 8, the 8 low at the top. Digit 5 with curved flag. Reverse with interesting, multiple die cracks, the 1st die crack from rim through A1 to scroll . The 2nd and more prominent die crack from rim through A2 to scroll over NU. A third die crack from the bottom arrowhead to period. The variety is not noted on the holder, none listed at the AU55 grade, this coin a definite candidate for attribution. Gem.
