The Chin Whiskers are actually heavy die scratches from below Miss Liberty’s chin to her left shoulder on the obverse, The date is high with a slight upward slope. The reverse with die lines behind the bow and bow not but not as heavy or dramatic. The obverse with lovely orange gold toning around the rim and strictly original surfaces. The reverse also with strictly original surfaces but without the toning. For Seated Dime Top 100 collectors,this is definitely a prime candidate for variety attribution. Gem
