Popular Civil War issue struck at the New Orleans mint in January before the facility was taken over and run by the State of Louisiana and then the Confederacy. This piece is recovering nicely from an old wipe, with a light amber toning developing. As such, Market Acceptable and a good candidate for any raw album or set collection.
